Team:USP-EEL-Brazil/Collaborations
In April 2021 we had our first meeting with the KCL Team, we had a conversation about our projects and the main points that we could collaborate on. We received valuable help in dry-lab, specifically how to get a good model of our protein.
Together, we translated our synthetic biology workbook from Portuguese to English so that it can reach a wider audience! Also, we gave feedback on the Synthetic Biology Tournament we organized, since KCL had a similar project idea, we told them about our difficulties, problems and successes with the event we organized.
In partnership with the UNILA LatAm team and the SynFronteras Club we gave a presentation called "Exploring Modeling: First Frontier''. We believe that this may have been of great help to the participants. For us it was a great experience and learning that we acquired with this collaboration.
The MTU-CORK Team has a project to develop a synthetic biology material that is accessible and attractive to children. Science dissemination is one of the foundations of our team, so we are happy to help with a drawing and a sentence about our project!
